Joe Tatum
Joe N. Tatum is a shareholder in the firm of Tatum and Wade, PLLC. He received his Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Jackson State University in 1991 (Cum Laude). He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the Mississippi College School of Law, where he received the American Jurisprudence Award in Secured Transactions, was a Frederick Douglass Moot Court Semi-Finalist, served on the Moot Court Board and competed in several national moot court competitions.
Mr. Tatum practices in the areas of Personal Injury, 18 Wheeler Accidents, Wrongful Death, Premises Liability, Product Liability, Medical Malpractice, Workers' Compensation and Consumer Bankruptcy. He is a member of the American Association of Justice, Mississippi Trial Lawyers Association, Magnolia Bar Foundation Magnolia Bar Association, Mississippi State Bar Association, and the Mississippi Bankruptcy Conference.
Mr. Tatum has handled over 3500 Consumer Bankruptcy Cases and served as lead counsel in various personal injury and medical malpractice cases resulting in multi-million dollar settlements and/or verdicts at trial. Mr. Tatum recently obtained one of the largest verdicts in Mississippi in a premises liability case. Additionally, Mr. Tatum has recovered several seven figures settlements for his clients.
He has been a frequent speaker on personal injury and premise liability issues at various Continuing Legal Education Seminars throughout the State of Mississippi. He has served as guest speaker WLBT Law Call and as a commentator for Clarion Ledger newspaper. Mr. Tatum serves as volunteer with numerous community service organizations. Mr. Tatum and the firm contributes to community activities and annually donates a laptop computer to a Jackson Public School Student to encourage them to attend college.
He is admitted to practice in the Mississippi Supreme Court, Northern and Southern District Courts of Mississippi, Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and is also admitted to practice in California and Nevada. He has been awarded a high rating in the Martindale-Hubbell guide to lawyer ratings.

Thandi Wade
Thandi Wade is a shareholder in the firm of Tatum and Wade, PLLC. He received his Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Jackson State University in 1992 (Magna Cum Laude). He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he received the Best Overall Contract Negotiation Award, was a Frederick Douglass Moot Court Semi-Finalist, served on the Moot Court Board, the Journal of National Security Law, and the Editorial Board of the Sports Law Journal.
